We are in need of the following directors for the 2024 season.
Secretary – 2nd year of a two year term – Attends all meetings to record, prepare and maintain records of all minutes and correspondence . Time investment of approximately 2hrs monthly.
Registrar – 2 year term – Annually coordinates registration process, maintains team rosters for all leagues. Coordinates with Rep directorall rep team registration s with Baseball Alberta. Documents incidents requiring disciplinary action. Time investment 2 hrs monthly extra time during the preseason.
Treasurer – 2 year term – Keep accurate record of monies, deposits and disbursement in proper accounts, signing authority. Provides financial statements, ensures annual audit is performed by appointee. This role is very important and volunteers should have experience with bookkeeping software and financial statements. Time investment is approximately 15hrs a week.
Non – Executive
board positions available for the 2024 baseball season. These position have an average time commitment of 1-2hrs a month during the year for board meetings
13U Director – organizes teams and schedules for 2024 season, ages 2011-2012. Additional time preseason of approximately 2-3 hours.
Challenger director – organizes the athletes ages 5-18 in our challenger program. Additional time during the season depends on enrollment of the program.
Umpire Director – Schedules umpires for the house league games, house tournament, and 11/13U AA hosting weekends. Weekly time commitment of approximately 30 minutes for scheduling.
Rep Director – Liaison between managers and association regarding registrations and hosting weekends for all rep teams.
House Director – Supports the division directors of the community league. Works with the executive director to plan the house league annual tournament.
Grant/Sponsorship/Fundraising Director – Works with executive director to help raise additional funds through the annual raffle, casinos, and other opportunities.
