General Rules:

There are 11,000 tickets printed at $10 per ticket.

Must be 18 years of age to purchase tickets. The name of a minor MUST NOT be written on any part (front or back) of the ticket.

Tickets must only be advertised and sold in the province of Alberta.

Persons visiting from outside of Alberta may purchase tickets, only so long as the sale and receipt of the tickets occurs within the province of Alberta.

Tickets are considered sold once payment has been secured.

If payment is returned for insufficient funds, the ticket will automatically be voided.

Payment options are cash, cheque, electronic funds transfer or bank draft. Credit card can be accommodated if necessary.

Tickets cannot be refunded. No refund requests will be considered.

 

Draw Date: June 30th 2022 at 7pm at the Grande Prairie Minor Baseball Associations clubhouse - Lot H, 55051 Township Rd 710, County of Grande Prairie, No. 1, Alberta  T8X4A3

All prizes are cash prizes and will be paid to the winner via cheque.

 

      Grand Prize:$15,000

      2nd Prize :  $ 5,000

      3rd Prize :   $3,000

 

Sales cutoff will be June 27th, 2022 

To claim a prize government issued ID must be provided. The date of birth will be noted as proof of age. 

Members of GPMBA are eligible to purchase tickets. with the exception of the following: Employees of GPMBA, members of the GPMBA raffle committee and Executive Members of the GPMBA board of directors (President, Past President, Vice President, Treasurer, Registrar and Secretary) will be prohibited from purchasing tickets

2000 tickets must be sold before the draw date extention or cancellation of the raffle can be requested.

Draw procedures:

Prior to the draw, members of the raffle committee will reconcile the number of sold tickets and unsold tickets as indicated in the ticket sales record with a number of ticket stubs ensuring all eligible tickets form part of the draw.

The draw will be open to all members of GPMBA and the general public.

The draw will be supervised by at least two executive members of GPMBA and one member of the public

The prize draws will follow a strict set of procedures an under licensed approval of Alberta Gaming Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC).

Only sold tickets by the sales cut-off will be entered into the draw.

Tickets reported lost or stolen will not form part of the draw and will not be eligible for any prizes

Voided tickets will not form part of the draw and will not be eligible for any prizes

Prizes will be awarded in the following order: 1. 3rd Prize, 2. 2nd Prize, 3. Grand Prize

For each prize, the following world will occur:

The winning ticket will be exhibited to the witnesses and held open for inspection, then recorded.

The winning tickets will be returned to the draw for the next chance to win, until all draws have been made.

If more than one name is written on a winning ticket stub, the prize will be awarded in full to the first name listed. The first name listed will be determined in the following order.

 Neither GPMBA nor AGLC will be responsible for any disputes among the individuals whose names are written on the ticket stub.

In the event that the winning ticket has the name of a minor on it or the name of a person not eligible to purchase a ticket or win a prize, the ticket will be removed and a new winner will be selected. No refunds will be issued in this case.

Winners have 3 months from the date of the draw to claim their prize.

Every effort will be made to contact the winner by phone, mail and/or email if provided. The mail will require the signature of the ticket holder as proof of notification in the event that the winner cannot be contacted the prize claimed by September 30th then the unclaimed prize will be donated to Kidsport Grande Prairie or another charitable beneficiary that is approved by AGLC
